Impact
The "Transition" phase is where most failures occur. It is the "Valley of Death" between Development (who built it) and Operations (who have to catch it).
Weinto take
We aim to eliminate "Transition" as a separate phase. By using Infrastructure as Code and Containerization, the environment the developer builds in is identical to production. There is no "handover" or "transition"—the code just flows from one stage to the next in a unified pipeline.
