A low-risk, pre-authorized change that is well understood and fully documented, and which can be implemented without needing additional authorization.

Standard Changes are the fast lane. They bypass the CAB (Change Advisory Board).

We aim for 100% Standard Changes. Every type of deployment should be pre-approved via the CI/CD pipeline tests. If the tests pass, the change is standard and goes to prod. "Normal Changes" (manual approval) should be a rare exception for high-risk architectural shifts.
