Deliver and Support

A key activity in the Service Value Chain that ensures services are delivered and supported according to agreed specifications and stakeholders' expectations. It includes everything from resolving incidents to processing service requests.

Impact

This is "Day 2" operations. You can design a perfect system ("Day 0") and build it perfectly ("Day 1"), but if you can't run it (Deliver and Support), the value is never realized.

We believe in "You Build It, You Run It." Segregating "Delivery" (Dev) from "Support" (Ops) creates a wall of confusion. When developers are on-call for their own code, support capability is naturally baked into the design, and reliability improves strictly out of self-preservation.
