A controlled environment containing live configuration items used to deliver IT services to customers. Often referred to as "Production" or "Prod."
Impact
The stability of the Live Environment is directly correlated to business revenue and reputation.

We believe the Live Environment should be Observable but Immutable. You can look (via logs/metrics), but you cannot touch. Any change to Prod must come through the CI/CD pipeline, fully audited and tested.
