Machine Learning
Machine Learning (ML) is a subset of artificial intelligence that focuses on building systems that learn—or improve their performance—based on the data they consume. It allows computers to learn without being explicitly programmed for a specific task.
⇢
Maintainability
The ease with which a product or service can be modified to correct faults, modify or extend properties.
⇢
Maturity
A measure of the reliability, efficiency, and effectiveness of a process, function, organization, or capability. Often measured using a Maturity Model (like CMMI).
⇢
Method
A systematic way of doing something. A method defines the steps, rules, and techniques used to achieve a result.
⇢
Metric
A measurement or calculation that is monitored or reported for management and improvement.
⇢
Minimum Viable Product (MVP)
A product with just enough features to be usable by early customers who can then provide feedback for future product development.
⇢
Model
A representation of a system, process, service, or other facility. Models are used to understand complex systems, predict behavior, and make decisions.
⇢
Monitoring
Repeated observation of a system, practice, or service to detect events and to ensure that the current status is known.
