Warranty#
Assurance that a product or service will meet agreed requirements. Warranty can be summarized as "how the service performs" and whether it is "fit for use" (availability, capacity, continuity, security).
Waterfall#
A linear project management approach where stakeholder requirements are gathered at the beginning of the project, and then a sequential project plan is created to accommodate those requirements.
Web Application Firewall (WAF)#
A Web Application Firewall (WAF) helps protect web applications by filtering and monitoring HTTP traffic between a web application and the Internet. It typically protects web applications from attacks such as cross-site forgery, cross-site-scripting (XSS), file inclusion, and SQL injection, among others.
Wireframe#
A wireframe is a two-dimensional illustration of a page's interface that focuses on space allocation and prioritization of content, functionalities available, and intended behaviors. Wireframes typically do not include any styling, color, or graphics.
Work Instruction#
Detailed instructions on how to perform a specific task. Work instructions are more granular than procedures.
Workaround#
A solution that reduces or eliminates the impact of an incident or problem for which a full resolution is not yet available.
Workflow#
The sequence of processes through which a piece of work passes from initiation to completion.
Workload#
The amount of work assigned to or expected from a worker, team, or machine in a specified time period.
